Delving in 3D modeling

Finally finished Pyr'ae, now working on Rila, but as soon as that's finished I will begin doing 3D modeling (3DS MAX 2012) for a Fem Shep concept I have in mind, and due to the High Resolution this is the most effective way to make realistic looking armor. I have some reference images and Base Models, now just to pick which one... The armor and accessories will be 3D, and everything else in 2D (PS CS 5.5).

Finally finished playing with Photoshop. That image resolution is so big, but I am new to this so I would assume it makes sense. A whole 6 hours spent on tweaking and coloring. It would be so much easier if I had a tablet, but a mouse is fine, just more time consuming. I personally think It came out sweet for my first attempt. I just wonder if I can use that base image with out complications, even though I did give credit and left the watermark intact, Curious. Well off to do something else, yet something tells me I'm going to like doing Androids/Cyborgs.
